Despite its excellent performance, CDMA systems have two drawbacks: complex signal processing
and Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) increase as the number of channels increase during
simultaneous transmission of multi-channel signals. This paper introduces a Binary CDMA
technology that can transmit Multi-Code CDMA signals in a conventional Time Division Multiple
Access (TDMA) structure, maintaining the characteristics and mode of Multi-Code CDMA and
keeping transmission signals at a constant level.
Binary CDMA technology may be classified, by the applied technology, into Pulse Width CDMA
(PW/CDMA), Multi Phase CDMA (MP/CDMA), and Code Select CDMA (CS/CDMA), offering a
wireless solution suitable for small portable devices that transmit real-time multimedia in an
