Abstract:A method called Observed Time Difference of Arrival (OTDOA) for identifying the position of a mobile terminal with a repeater in the radio zone is put forward. After the information about the repeater is configured and export to the database of the Serving Radio Network Controller (SRNC), a position of a mobile terminal would be estimated with the OTDOA algorithm. Then another estimated position can be obtained by verifying the hyperbola between another two base stations or repeaters (not the base stations or repeaters which have already been referenced). The distance between the two estimated positions is regarded as an error. By computing the data of supposed signal routes and choosing the least error as the real error, the final position of a mobile terminal can be located. With the new method, the positioning of mobile terminals with repeaters in radio zone can be improved greatly.
(3)SFN-SFN Observed Time Difference
SFN-SFN Observed Time Difference的测量(基于基站测量或基于LMU测量)在基站或LMU的天线处,对于定位所用到的测量值定义为TCPICHRx j -TCPICHRx i,表示从公共导频信道上测量到的小区j 与小区i 之间的时间差。该参数的单位为chip,精度为±0.5 chip。
(4)UE Rx-Tx Time Difference
UE Rx-Tx Time Difference的测量(基于移动台测量)在移动台的天线处,为移动台最早收到所测量的下行DPCH帧与移动台发送上行DPCCH/DPDCH帧之间的时间差。根据参考无线链路的不同,该测量值分成类型1和类型2。类型2定义其参考无线链路为移动台所有激活集中最早到达的链路,也就是指经过最少反射,空中延时最短的链路,符合位置测量原理的要求,所以位置计算使用该测量值的类型2。其单位为chip。
