Waystream AB is looking for Hardware Engineer to work with productdevelopment in the Access and Aggregation Switches.

Responsibilities:

• Cooperate with product     managers in new products definition
  
• Cooperate with hardware     design partners in designing schematic and PCB layout
  
• Involve in key component     selection and qualification
  
• Initiate plans to verify the     overall hardware design that meets performance, cost and reliability     targets
  
• Finish relevant     certifications of an access switch
  

·       Cooperate with factories for NPI and handle all issues from factories tosecure smooth products manufacturing

·       Cooperate with software team for relevant customer issues analyzing

We believe that you meetfollowing requires:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical     Engineering, Electronics, or related field
  
• At least 3 years of experience     in high-speed circuit design (network or telecom area preferred) from 10G     to 100G with EMC, reliability and DFM aspect considerations
  
• Familiar in certifications     of a network device, like EMC compliant testing
  
• Strong debugging and problems     solving skills
  
• Proficient in using tools such as oscilloscopes,     multimeters, and logic analyzers to diagnose and optimize the circuit     board
  
• Good communication skills with     cross functional teams
  

Experience within thefollowing areas is not required but is a merit:

• Familiarity     with Marvell/Broadcom switching platforms
  
• Knowledge     of signal integrity, EMC/EMI considerations
  
• Experience in network performance     testing
  
• Some knowledge of Linux OS or script     language for manufacturing testing
