| 5, Switch Test | ||||
5.1 | Points for attention | |||
| The principle of switching test is due to elimination method | ||||
| Each time only switch one component.By test, we can tell if the component ok. | ||||
| And in order to prove that action is always right, we should take a picture after every check. | ||||
| Because we have identified that it is link or AAU or interface problem, so we just check link light in switch test. | ||||
| For cell working well or not, we don't care it in testing. | ||||
5.2 | The objects will be tested | |||
| Power of AAU--AAU is a precision device, so it is very sensitive to voltage | ||||

| 5.3.2 | Power Checking | |||
| Firstly ,checking the power of output to AAU2 from DCDP in cabnet.Take a PIC pls. | ||||
| Secondly checking the power of input to AAU2 on the tower or manpole.Take a PIC of AAU2 lights pls. | ||||
| Remark: | Loose joints can easily cause problems or burn out of the equipmen | |||
| 5.3.3 | SFP of BBU checking | |||
| In switch test, we want to find the broken part. | ||||
| So please just change the part to be tested to another good cell link. | ||||
| Because there may be damage to multiple parts, every part needs to be switch tested. | ||||
| Certenly, when all parts have been tested, we can move good part to broken AAU2 link for confirmation. | ||||
| Pls apply permission from NOC, firstly. | ||||
| 5.3.2.1 | Move SFP on board UBBPg2a( interface01, Slo5 of BBU) to other good cell link. | |||
| if the good cell link still up, the tested SFP is good. | ||||
| Otherwise, the tested SFP is fault. | ||||
| pls take a PIC for this to show light status. | ||||
| Return to the replaced unit to restore the original good link to normal | ||||
| Make sure the link light back green. | ||||
| 5.3.2.2 | If there is SFP on board UBBPg2a( interface01, Slo4 of BBU) also, pls repeat 5.3.2.1 steps. | |||
| Ps: sometime AAU can take two CPRI . | ||||

| 6, Apply spare | ||||
| If manager ask, pls put all PIC in sheet "PIC" in this test report, | ||||
| If manager is nice people, just show related PIC to him. | ||||
| Write down SN code and hardware type, send it to manager . Then spare will be prepared in a few days. | ||||
