The ET-MF41 has four optical ports where the ET-MC41 only has one.

Before removing the old board, use the RNC EM to turn on auto-configuration.

Note:  
Remember to turn auto-configuration off after the new board has been identified and successfully unlocked.


To perform the replacement, do the following:

Lock the board as described in Lock Board.
If necessary replace the signal cables as described in Replacing Signal Cables.
Turn on auto-configuration as described in Section 2.6.2.
Perform the board replacement as described in Replacing an Exchange Terminal Board.
Turn off auto-configuration as described in Section 2.6.2.
