</p><p>This document describes a simple serial interface that allows an infrared controller to communicate with one or more infrared transceivers. This interface requires three signals: a clock line that is used for timing, and two unidirectional lines multiplexed with the transmitter (write) and receiver (read) infrared signal lines.
