Multi-Service Packet TransportPlatform OptiX PTN 7900
d software-defined core devices that support smart services. This NE is applicable to packet transport networks. It is the first 10T-levelSPTN NE in the field. In each slot, a 40GE or 100GE board can be smoothlyreplaced with a 400GE board. A PTN 7900 NE supports smart services, visualizedtraffic, and the predicable capacity. With the new software-defined networking(SDN) architecture, the PTN 7900 NE effectively supports Long Term Evolution(LTE) and various services.
Extra-high capacity, whichsupports bearer network long-term evolution: Supports the maximum forwarding capacity of 3.84 Tbit/s onthe equipment, which flexibly forwards core layer traffic. Allows a 40G or 100G board to be smoothly replaced with a400G board in each slot, which provides a large pipe to freely transmitservices. Super L3VPN ability to support mass base station load; SDN-based PTN, which simplifies O&M andindicates the trend of PTN development: Provides standard application interfaces, which allow foruser-defined programmable services. This helps rapidly roll out new services. Supports the separation of the control and forwarding planesand decoupling of service features and hardware, which simplifies O&M andfacilitates service innovation. Supports the uniform management of distributed devices, whichhelps rapidly and efficiently deploy and management networks. Energy Conservation: Supports the industry-leading distribution system andflexible configuration of power input based on the number of boards and powerconsumption. The flexible configuration prevents resource wastes. Uses the 28 mm chips with high accuracy in the field, whichsupports higher performance and lower power consumption. Supports the intelligent heat dissipation technique and π-shapedair duct, which improves heat dissipation efficiency. Supports dynamic and precise energy control, which helpsefficiently use energy resources. Technical Specifications: | |
